Debbie Liles glorified God with the most joy and passion through music, and inspiring that passion in others. He called her to sing, and to direct others to do the same. Her love of music combined with her love of children to make her a transcendent mother and elementary school music teacher.

She often said that there is a purity in a child’s singing voice that no adult can ever achieve. If you can help contribute to a single child hearing beautiful music, or finding their head voice, or experiencing more of the beauty in all of the fine arts, you will have honored Debbie Liles. To that end, this fund will secure and strengthen the music program at San Jose Elementary School, where she gave so much of her life.

The Community Foundation for Northeast Florida has helped to set up the fund, and will provide ongoing support. We will provide more details in the days to come.
